Free Day Tours at Fort Siloso

Fort Siloso, Singapore’s best-preserved 19th century fort, was officially gazetted on the Total Defence Day (15 February 2022) as a National Monument, and is home to the remains of fortified military structures, guns and tunnels that were used during World War II. Built as an important installation for protecting our coastline, Fort Siloso is now home to a wealth of WWII memorabilia, including the largest collection of coastal guns in Singapore.

Come and explore with our passionate guides as they provide you a brief introduction of the fortified military structures, guns and tunnels before you embark on your self exploration around Fort Siloso. Conclude your tour at the newly revamped Surrender Chambers, where you will be guided from the Japanese invasion till their eventual surrender at the end of WWII.

What you are seeing and hearing during the tour is only one small part of our history. The island has a very rich history and we welcome you to discover them after the tour!

Each session is limited to 20 participants, available on a first-come, first served basis.
