Look at the world from a different perspective; discover and manipulate various materials!

Snug AS Bug has been set up to allow children to discover, ask, be curious, imagine, create and have fun all under one roof. It is a small space, and hence allows the creative facilitators to work closely with children and allow children to get to know their peers better.

Workshops that are conducted and materials provided are age appropriate to suit their growing and developing needs. While recognizing that every child or every person for that matters is different, the true goal is to encourage creative thinking and enjoy the journey in their art experience!

Kids Classes

Toddler Time (age 18m – 3years)

Toddler Time Pop Up is a great way to for children to learn through play and hands-on activities on an ad-hoc basis. This pop-up workshop is offered once or twice a month and is great for mommies and toddlers to get together to experiment and have messy fun. Children (accompanied by an adult) will gain exposure to various art and sensory experiences including paint, clay, playdough, goop, collage, sculpture and so much more!

Art for Kids: Story Inspired Craft (age 18m – 4years)

This workshop is facilitated by Jelly Bean Attic. The workshop will use stories as a source of inspiration through which toddlers can engage in art-making. By facilitating rather than instructing, the workshop allows the little ones room to explore various materials and mediums to create. Play and art is an incredible experience for little tots, giving them room to be themselves and letting them explore the world around them through different colours and textures. The workshops will focus on process art. It’s all about the creation process rather than the outcome.

Hello, Bug! (age 4-6)

This workshop provides a warm introduction to art through stories and activities. It is the space for kids to build confidence and creativity.

Kids Gallery Atelier (age 4-10)

Based on subject, theme, and/or activity. There will be a theme every 6 weeks and end of that 6 weeks, we have a mini art gallery fiesta for children to bring their parents and appreciate their works of art.

BYOC

You are welcome to Build-Your-Own-Class based on any subject you choose whether it be by medium like ceramics, sculpture or painting or by subject matter, outer space, birds, or gardens.

Open Studio

Family Open Studio (age 2-4)

For parent and child collaboration. Parent and child are invited to pick materials from the room to collaborate on a piece of work at your own pace.

Kids Open Studio (age 4-10)

Children are invited to come in and explore the room and materials to create at their own pace. This allows children to learn to explore, take risks, respect others, and bringing their ideas into fruition. This is not an instruction based class but there will be a creative facilitator around to help out.

The studio is bright, inviting, open and cozy; uniquely organized but most importantly, an environment that is nurturing, welcoming, fun, inspiring, safe, imaginative + creative… a place where magic happens every day!
