Taman Jurong CC Malay Activity Executive Committee (MAEC), is organizing Semerak Budaya as part of the Bulan Bahasa Month (Malay Language Month).
They will be showcasing the vibrancy of the Malay culture to the residents - and encourage the use of Malay Language in everyday activities and appreciation of this rich heritage. Program is in English and Malay.
During the event, visitors can participate in a range of fringe activities, followed by two hours of stage performance.
The fringe activities include - Traditional Malay Kitchen Display; Malay Culinary recipe Exchange; DIY folded towel for finger bowl; Batik Painting; Children's Wayang Kulit Design; Bunga Mangga; and Traditional Games Display; and feature interesting aspects of the Malay culture.
