We’ve often heard the kind advice given by those who have been through it: sleep when baby sleeps.
We’ve been there and we know it doesn’t work! It’s no wonder that many new mothers struggle with sleep and sometimes only realising too late that prolonged sleep deprivation is one of the main contributing factors to maternal depression.
After hearing so many stories about the challenges of newborn sleep, our deepest wish is to equip mothers-to-be (yes, start early!) and mothers of newborns with important information about this topic, especially when there is a wealth of conflicting information on “sleep training” methods out there.
We’re therefore very excited to invite certified Sleep Sense (TM) consultant Shubhra Venneti to Mothers' Circle to conduct this very special online workshop that looks at:
- Baby sleep science
- Safe sleep guidelines
- The relationship between feeding and sleeping
- Naps
- Ideal bedtime routines
- 3 main goals for the 4th trimester
… all so that YOU can help baby/child sleep more independently when he/she is age appropriate to do so!
You may invite an accompanying caregiver to join you for the session (to help with baby) at no extra charge.
Fees are inclusive of a 1 x 30 minutes personal Q&A call with Shubhra.
Should you wish to take up a consultancy package with Shubhra, your fee will be used to offset payment for the package price.
About the facilitator
Shubhra (https://sfamilywellness.com) began with helping parents with their little one’s sleep after experiencing her own struggles with her baby’s sleep, as well as her own. After months of waking 10 times a night to feed her daughter to sleep and surviving on only 2 hours of rest a night for herself, Shubhra desperately went to seek professional sleep help. After engaging with a sleep consultant, she was shocked when it resolved in a few short nights, and it inspired her to learn as much about sleep as much as she could. She flew to the U.S. in 2018 to train under Dana Obleman’s ‘Sleep Sense Method for Children’, and the ‘Solve Your Sleep Method for Adults’. Since then she been working with parents to get their little ones the rest they need. Shubhra has recently launched her podcast, Shift with Shubhra, which is a show that explores conversations with experts and practitioners in various health and wellness fields. Her aim is to create a platform to learn and share as much knowledge as possible to help those in need.
She has completed additional certificates and training programs, including Dr. Brues’s Online Sleep Program, Kangatraining, Baby Signs Program, Akashic Light Healing, and is also exploring healing modalities to add to her portfolio.
