Did you know the Earth can feel stressed? When it feels too much stress it sometimes shakes, causing what is known as an earthquake. Learn about earth movements and how earthquakes come about. Think like a seismologist and work like an engineer to design a structure that can survive an earthquake's vibration and put it to the test on the Shake Table!

Fun Engineering - DIY Hydraulic Machines

Ages 7 - 12

Learn and apply basic engineering science concepts like force and pressure and get hands-on with the power and delight of a hydraulic-powered mechanism. Hydraulics are used in many daily applications but are not often thought about. Create your own hydraulic system and apply to different scenarios like a rising stage in a concert of stacking of goods in a warehouse.
