The Alternative Story (TAS) is an education company that specialises in teaching English to Primary School students

The Alternative Story hopes to create an environment where kids' curiosity is kindled and a child will come to classes loving to learn. In the process, the child does not just learn to achieve high scores but they develop a thirst for knowledge which will follow them through their lives.

P6 Creative Writing Intensive Workshop

Date: 15–16 Mar

This workshop will sufficiently equip your child with the necessary foundation for his or her PSLE English Creative Writing component. In this workshop, students will learn how to grasp the skills of tackling different New Syllabus composition topics using creative writing techniques. Students will also be taught how to apply phrases across different commonly tested topics.

Writing Comes Alive Children’s Workshop

Date: 16 Mar

In this workshop, children will learn how to make the characters in their stories come alive with the technique of characterisation. Based on well-loved book, My Adventures with Pang Pang (Episode 1), your children will learn how their words can be used to bring out a character in a story!

P6 Preparatory Composition Workshop

Date: 16 Mar

In this workshop students will learn the skills for tackling the different New Syllabus composition topics using creative writing techniques. Student will also be taught how to apply phrases across different commonly tested topics. Model compositions based on New Syllabus topics will be taught and students will also be required to write and apply what they have learnt.
