The Artground has a variety of age-specific drop-in programmes on the weekends that participants will get to enjoy!
They have a variety of age-specific drop-in programmes that participants will get to enjoy, on a first come, first served basis, inside Whitebox or at Good Garden. Each programme will be charged at $10 per parent-child pair. You can purchase a single ticket, TAG cards for 5 or 10 + 1 sessions at $50 and $100 respectively at the reception.
There is no registration for these activities as they are first come, first served. An announcement will be made 5 mins before each programme and the first XX number of children in the queue will get to enjoy the programme (XX refers to the age-specified & capacity of the programme, ie Little Green Thumbs is for the first 20 children from 2 – 4 years old).
There will be no need to pre-register on website for entry into The Artground. Parents and carers will just need to register on portable tablets on site.
30th June, Saturday
- 10.30am - Cardboard City by Stan (Strictly Pre-walking babies): An exploration for pre-walking babies to inhabit and extend their spatial awareness amongst the everyday materials in this City designed just for them.
- 11.30am - Baby Beat by Kulcha Pop (8 - 36 months): A cozy performance of classical music favourites with classic and ethnic instruments for the youngest of audiences. This session features Ragha on flute and Stan on keyboard.
- 2.30pm - Tippy Toes by My Piano Room (3 - 5 years): Experience the foundations of ballet in this fun workshop for the young ones!
- 3.30pm - It's a Piece Of Case! (3 years and up): Express your creativity and create your very own pencil case using fabric scraps.
- 4.30pm - Rolypoly Family Dance Party (2 - 6 years): Join Rolypoly Family for groovy moves and funky music, in a party especially for children and grown-ups to dance it out together!
1st July, Sunday
- 10.30am - Bitesize Lil' Creatures (5 - 30 months): Explore, experiment and simply experience with musicians in spontaneous musical play! Each session features live musicians as they explore creating meaningful sounds with babies.
- 11.30am - Terrific Tales by The Storytelling Centre Ltd. - Japanese Folktales (3 - 7 years): The perfect introduction to the art of storytelling especially for little listeners, followed by a simple craft activity.
- 2.30pm - Googly Doodly Monsters by art@homesg (4 years and up): Monsters are friends! What kind of monsters can you create from dropping a bunch of googly eyes on the paper?
- 3.30pm - Wriggle & Giggle - Dance (4 years and up): A fun, movement experience through dance. Get the kids up on their feet as they learn simple dance moves to a different song each session.
- 4.30pm - Space City art@homesg (3.5 years and up): Build a shiny skyscraper from space by putting together a couple of recycled materials and aluminium foil!
