The Artground has a variety of age-specific drop-in programmes on the weekends that participants will get to enjoy!
From 24th January till 5th May 2019, we present Wild Rumpus – an invitation into an imaginary world of creatures big, small, flurry or gentle, and to make friends whoever is hiding behind the corner. Embrace the world of tactile material and feel what it is like to hug, cuddle and squeeze into something out of the ordinary. Entry into The Artground itself is free and donations are encouraged.
Ticketed Programmes
The Artground occasionally plays host to ticketed performances and workshops. This weekend we present a ticketed performance, Baby Space – an immersive performance strictly for pre-walking babies, created by Dalija Acin Thelander. Patrons are required to purchase tickets online if you’d like to attend.
TAG Drop-in Programmes
Children will also get to enjoy drop-in Open Craft Workshops, where they can drop in anytime within the 2 hours (subject to seat availability). Each child will take approximately 10 – 30 mins for each activity. Each activity is charged at $10 per child. There is no registration for these activities as they are first come, first served (unless stated otherwise).
20th April Saturday
- 11am, 1pm & 3.30pm: BABY SPACE (Ticketed performance, strictly pre-walking babies, 35 mins): Baby Space is a multi-sensory installation designed for pre-walking babies. It is where contemporary dance, music and visual art meld together to form an immersive encounter with the arts. Please book tickets here.
- 10.30am to 12.30pm: [Open Craft Workshop, Stage] Petite Piñata party: Crafting local desserts! By In Merry Motion (Suitable for ages 4 years and up): An ice kachang that never melts? Yes please! Join us at our craft kitchen as we make some of our favourite local desserts – the potong ice cream, ice cream wafer sandwich, and of course the ice kachang! Let’s (craft) party!
- 2.30pm to 4.30pm: [Open Craft Workshop, Stage] Dreamcatchers Craft (Suitable for ages 3 years and up): Create your own dreamcatcher to chase the monsters away! Perfect for children ages 3 years and above!
21st April Sunday (Easter Sunday)
