In this eco-friendly workshop, participant will get to use soy wax to make a candle and pour into the Jesmonite pot which they created.
Soy wax is sustainable as it is a renewable resource. It is a clean-burning wax that produces zero petrochemicals when burned, unlike fossil fuel-derived paraffin wax. Soy wax candles produce no soot and burn up to 50% longer than paraffin wax candles due to their lower melting point.
Jesmonite can be used to replicate the appearance and texture of any surface finish, and even the finest of detail. It can mimic the appearance of materials such as stone, wood, leather and fabric. It is strong, durable and heat resistance.
