This boot camp strengthens students’ understanding of the eight science and engineering practices
These practices include asking questions and solving problems, modeling, prototyping, investigating, analyzing and interpreting data, computational thinking, creating evidence based arguments, and obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information.
Your child will through hands-on project covering 1 key science topic per day (physical, life, space sciences). This programme hones problem solving, critical thinking, communication, collaborative skills and integrates the use of relevant digital tools to improve computational thinking skills as they build their robots.
Inclusive of:
- a snack
- materials for science experiments, artwork and activity sheets
- use of hands-on manipulatives
- science journal of child's experience
