Storytime with Tickle Your Senses combines sensory play with well-loved children’s picture books!
Stories and words come alive in this carefully designed multi-sensory experience!
In this series of Storytime Workshops, enter the world of Eric Carle – his vibrant illustrations and stories. His picture books appeal to children through their senses of sight and hearing, lovely pictures + melodious rhyme and rhythm in the stories.
- 16 March, Thurs “The Mixed Up Chameleon”
- 17 March, Fri “The Very Busy Spider”
- 18 March, Sat “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”
Time: 10 or 11am sessions [45mins per session]
Class size: Maximum 10 participants per session
Learning Objectives:
- ignite your child’s imagination as he/she recreates the scenes in the book with cutters and playdough
- improve language skills through guided pretend play with cutters, playmats & our non-toxic, taste-safe and scented dough
- kindle a love for stories, music and purposeful play with animated narrators
