Storytime with Tickle Your Senses combines Sensory Play with well-loved children’s picture books. Your children will get to see it, hear it and feel it. Stories and words come alive in these carefully designed multi-sensory workshops!
This Mothers’ Day, enter the world of Margaret Wise Brown – famous author of well-known “Goodnight Moon”.
In line with celebrating the power of a Mother’s love, read her other popular book, “The Runaway Bunny” that deals with a small rabbit who wants to run away! Yikes! His mother, however, tells him that “if you run away, I will run after you”. This is a wonderful tale about unconditional love, expressed to the ends of the earth.
Learning Objectives:
- ignite your child’s imagination as he/she recreates the scenes in the book with cutters and playdough items that are bunny related!
- improve language skills through guided pretend play with non-toxic, taste-safe and scented dough
- kindle a love for stories, music and purposeful play with animated narrators
