Storytime with Tickle Your Senses combines Sensory Play with well-loved children’s picture books. Your children will get to see it, hear it and feel it. Stories and words come alive in all our carefully designed multi-sensory workshops!

This May, Tickle Your Senses is partnering LOL Playland, an indoor playground at JCube for this Storytime Workshop!

All participants will be entitled to 2 hours of free play at LOL Playland’s indoor playground after the workshop! Did you know that LOL Playland has both Active Play and Pretend Play Sections, for your child to be work those muscles, or do pretend play to be a doctor, a police or a fire fighter! How awesome is that?

What’s more, they are going Bilingual this time, and will read the book in both English and Mandarin to help your child enjoy the book more deeply!

For the workshop itself, enter the world of Frank Asch – author of well-known “Happy Birthday, Moon”.

The touching story deals with a Little Bear who doggedly travels to the highest mountaintop to find out what the Moon would like to have for his birthday. He then discovers a delightful surprise — that the Moon has the exact same birthday as Little Bear himself. Or so it seems… Join to listen to this wonderful tale about a selfless and generous Little Bear in his encounters with the Moon. Let's engage in English and Mandarin storytelling and Playdough table fun at LOL Playland!

Learning Objectives:

ignite your child’s imagination as he/she recreates the scenes in the book with cutters and playdough items that are Bear and Moon related!
