There is so much research about the nutritional value of touch. When it comes to your newborn there are studies supporting the benefits of massage, especially oil massage. It benefits every system of your baby including digestion, circulatory, immune and the nervous systems. It can even help your baby gain weight. Baby massage is easy to do and also a great way for you and your partner to gain confidence in handling your baby.

About Red Miller

Red Miller is a Birth Consultant, Midwife, Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist and the founder of Love Based Birth. She is a strong advocate for woman-centered, respectful and compassionate maternity care and has been practising and teaching in Asia since 2007. During this time has helped thousands of women to have positive, informed experiences of birth and currently calls Singapore home.
