Musical Mosaics: A Symphonic Portrait of Singapore’s Towns

Musical Mosaics: A Symphonic Portrait of Singapore’s Towns

Join the enchanting voyage with the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra as we explore the landscapes of Singapore, unwrapping the rich tales and histories nestled within its vibrant towns.

Led by Music Director, Mr Adrian Chiang, and featuring guest concertmaster, soloist, and Cultural Medallion recipient, Ms Lynnette Seah, this concert promises to be a captivating journey through the heart and soul of Singapore’s diverse neighbourhoods.

The concert will feature a collection of compositions by local talents, each piece crafted to evoke the essence and spirit of iconic Singaporean towns such as Bedok, Geylang Serai, Tiong Bahru, Toa Payoh, and Queenstown. From the bustling streets to the tranquil parks, from the rich cultural heritage to the modern urban landscapes, these compositions offer a musical exploration of Singapore’s multifaceted identity.

Among the local composers whose works will be showcased are Wang Chenwei, Germaine Goh, Syafiqah 'Adha Sallehin, Terrence Wong, Felix Phang, Lin Wei, Sulwyn Lok, and Eric Watson. Each composer brings their unique perspective and artistic vision, weaving together melodies and harmonies that reflect the rich tapestry of Singaporean culture.

Join us as we embark on this musical odyssey, uniting voices from across Singapore in harmony and celebration for our nation’s 59th birthday.
