A Musical Journey Through the Cosmos
West Winds, a community band, so well-loved in Singapore, presents its Musica Universalis: A Musical Journey Through the Cosmos. The concert’s title is inspired by the feature piece of the concert, Music of the Spheres by Philip Sparke, which alludes to the ancient philosophical concept that regards the movement of celestial bodies, namely the Sun, Moon, stars and planets, as a form of music. Led by Music Director, ME5 Philip Tng, West Winds promises to bring you on a riveting voyage into the unknown with a repertoire that explores the kaleidoscopic canvas of the mysterious space.
