Where Dreams Come True

Where Dreams Come True

MOB-18: WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE marks our 18th-year milestone since MOB's establishment.

It also celebrates the beginning of our new TRILOGY—three years dedicated to advancing our mission as a vibrant, youthful team, pushing the boundaries of handbell music into the future on the international stage. Our innovative, multi-disciplinary work in Singapore has created a Distinctively MOB and Uniquely Singaporean style of Handbell music, making waves in the global handbell community.

Leading MOB-18 is our Principal Conductor and Founder, DAMIEN LIM, joined by two distinguished Principal Guest Conductors: MICHAEL GLASGOW, one of America's most influential figures in handbells, and EMILY LI from Hong Kong, one of Asia's most sought-after handbell conductors. The performance will feature over 30 Singaporean handbell ringers, supported by 12 Guest Ringers from the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Iceland.

The MOB-18 is a high-level, high-energy, and high-adrenaline musical evening, showcasing our musical artistry through handbells in fusion with digital graphics, skits, song & dance, featuring originals and arranged handbell music & works from Disney, Musical Theatre, J-Fusion Jazz & the Big Screens.

The MOB-18 event is not just a show but an immersive experience for our audience. Our signature pre-show hands-on experience, led by our senior ringers, allows audiences to ring bells and chimes during a Community Massed Ringing session, play on percussions, and enjoy pre-show handbell performances. We also aim to raise public awareness of inclusive arts with displays of "working the arts with persons with autism and disabilities" as part of the MOB's commitment to musical inclusiveness.
