Western fairy tales are popular amongst children, but what about folktales from Southeast Asia? There is so much to learn about the songs, music, food, animals and places in Asian culture and history which would be fascinating to children through storytelling at the ALAP Workshop. Hearing and learning folktales from Southeast Asia will help children gain a stronger understanding of themselves and others. Participants will learn games, songs and activities that will complement the oral telling of stories.
This workshop is suitable for those aged above 16 who work with children aged 5-8 years old.
