About the author & illustrator:
Jocelyn Lau is an editor with postgraduate qualifications in publishing. She is the co-editor of Great Lengths: Singapore’s Swimming Pools. Also a writer, she has also produced three collections of parenting verses — Hey There, Tot!, Excursion to HortPark, and Hello, Baby. The short pieces in this anthology, The Life of Pinky, were first published over a period of two years on Eunoia Review. Lau feels there’s always time for the things that are important, like music and swimming.
Stephanie Wong is a designer and illustrator, best known for her art in The Diary of Amos Lee children’s book series. She also does work for magazines and corporate organisations, participates in art exhibitions and conducts creative drawing workshops, both locally and in the region. Wong believes a healthy sense of humour is important, as is taking joy in the little things, like sleep, exercise and onion ring necklaces.
