Intro to Python Coding for Kids (Age 11+)

PythonThinker - Programming with Python in Minecraft Class. Learn to code for kids age 11 and above. Not sure if your child is ready for Python Programming at Computhink Kids? Register for our special 3-hour introduction class, and let your child learn about the Coding and Algorithms in the Python Programming Language!

Here is what your child will experience in the introductory class.

Learn what Python Programming is, and how to write, edit and run Python Programs
Learn how to use Python code to control Minecraft
Learn basic Python Programming Syntax (i.e. code vocabulary and grammar!)
Code 3 or more Python Programs to bring home!
Be guided by our experienced programmer trainer (MOE-registered) throughout

Attending the introductory class will help your child:

Gain an understanding of what Python Programming is, and how it can be used professionally to solve problems and create solutions.
Discover if Python Programming is age-appropriate and something your child would like to learn.

LEGO® Mindstorms NXT & EV3 (Advance Robotic) For Kids Age 7+

LEGO® Mindstorms makes building, programming and commanding your own LEGO® robots smarter, faster, and more fun than ever. Follow the simple steps, you’ll be in control of robots that drive, shoot, slither, walk, slam, and spin.

Build your robot - It is everything you need in one box: bricks, motors, and sensors to build any of Mindstorms robots. Just make your pick.
Bring your robot to life - Use the Mindstorms NXT or EV3 Programmer App to bring your robot to life with your laptop. Write a program, press play, and watch your robot carry out the action.
Command and play - Use the remote control to steer your robots and challenge your friends to fun robot games.
Share your creation - Share your creations with other robot builders, and get inspired to create even more fun robots.
Rebuild for more adventures - Rebuild your robot and have fun with new actions and new missions.

LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 For Kids Age 6+

Lego Education WeDo 2.0 is the best introductory robotics program to a young explorer with no prior robotics experience to enter the robotics world. Its icon-based programming platform is easy to understand and apply, thus encouraging kids to explore complex topics in the fields of physics, engineering, and programming. On top of that, it also helps kids to develop motor and cognitive skills through robot building.

In this 3-hour workshop, Students will be building their first robot, “Milo” the Science Rover, understanding the critical programming blocks, constructing programming strings as well as learning the functions and applications of sensors (Motion and Tilt sensor). The students are required to work in teams of two to collaborate and manoeuvre their Milos through a series of obstacles
