Biduanita Collective presents an evening of Malay and Indonesian pop songs and classics by three ladies on instruments of sublime beauty: the voice, the violin and the harp.
Enjoy the comeliness of live acoustic performances by Adliana Supiani on the violin and vocal, Namie Rasman on vocal and Sarah Wong on the harp.
About the Artists
Adliana Supiani started learning the violin in 1992 and joined Orkestra Melayu Singapura (OMS) in 1994 as a violinist. She also studied vocal under Denise Tan and Dr Thomas Manhart, and recently completed her graduation recital (voice) under Leona Quek.
Since young, Namie Rasman had been tuned in to the sounds of Billie Holiday and her contemporaries. Beyond performing at venues island-wide such as Singjazz Club and Blujaz Café, she has also ventured overseas to perform at JB Arts Festival 2015 in Malaysia and BrisAsia 2018 at Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane, Australia.
Sarah Wong was invited to perform Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto with acclaimed British flautist, William Bennett, as well as the NAFA Orchestra. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons) from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Royal College of Music, London.
