About Young People’s Performing Arts Ensemble (YPPAE)
Young People’s Performing Arts Ensemble (YPPAE) is a Mandarin theatre performing arts company by the young, for the young, dedicated to researching, developing and practising Mandarin theatre performing arts and arts education. YPPAE’s Theatre Performing Arts Training framework integrates Confucian philosophy and Western theories in creative drama, with the belief that theatre performing arts is a holistic platform for the young to stimulate creativity, critical and independent thinking. YPPAE produces a range of popular Mandarin children theatre productions yearly, including plays, crosstalk shows, choral concerts and musicals.
