The Esplanade Concourse will host a range of performances featuring unique dramatic forms like puppetry and Chinese Opera, performed by schools across Singapore.
On 5 July, Catholic High School’s Chinese Drama programme students collaborate with students from Woodgrove Secondary School’s English Drama programme to present a contemporary puppetry performance, mentored by theatre director, playwright and actor Mr. Oliver Chong.
Also look forward to another collaborative piece between Drama students from Damai Secondary School and Tampines Secondary School on 6 July, as they present a traditional puppetry performance, mentored by theatre director and playwright Mr. Benjamin Ho. Last but not least, witness a dramatic storytelling of excerpts from Lady White Snake by the adorable students from Poi Ching School’s Chinese Opera group on 7 July.
