About the Artist
Tan Su-Min and Tan Su-Hui are scholars of the National Arts Council. They co-founded Multitone Music, which specialises in zhongruan and guzheng performance and education, after graduating with a Master's Degree from Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
The company aims to provide and promote awareness of Chinese instrumental music through education efforts and a series of performances. They also believe in providing a well-balanced and holistic education to train and inspire students to become fully developed and passionate learners and musicians with strong fundamentals, equipped with creative thinking and individualism. Their aim is to promote and recreate the style, genre and presentation of this form of traditional art while retaining the traditional and classical aspects of Chinese Music.
