Any idea how many clothes get thrown away every minute?
Let’s all come together to find out and do our part in maintaining a sustainable environment, while learning the basic concepts of upcycling old t-shirts into yarn. Have a go at yarn weaving, be it contributing to our giant weave display or making an accessory for yourself.
About Adeline Loo
Adeline Loo is an artist and designer who works with yarn, rope and string, to create large, site-specific structures and installations. She uses knitting and weaving techniques with mathematical precision, and experiments with a variety of new materials, such as glow-in-the-dark and reflective materials, to create work that can transform with different lighting states. Loo believes in being socially responsible as an artist and seeks more sustainable ways to create fashion and art.
