Online STEAM Workshop: Space Adventures

During this 3-day workshop, Explorers will go on a space adventure. They will be introduced to basic concepts about space and learn about the Earth, Moon and Sun through a series of STEAM hands-on activities.

During this 3-day workshop, Explorers will gain a deeper understanding of the Earth and the natural world they live in through a series of specially curated STEAM hands-on activities.

Join us for live makers' sessions for your little ones from the comfort of your home. They will get to learn about different concepts through fun and engaging STEAM hands-on activities.
- Session 1: Make a Fidget Spinner
Explorers will be making their own spinner which resembles a ninja star. Discover the science of spinner and investigate how long it takes for the fidget spinner to spin!
- Session 2: Light Up a Paper Robot
Explorers will dive into the world of robots and imagine what robot they would like to build. Using the materials provided, they will incorporate what they learn about electrical circuits and create their own light-up robot!
- Session 3: Construct a Catapult
Explorers will create their own catapult using craft sticks and learn how the lever is incorporated in this machine. How far or how high can this catapult launch a paper ball load?
- Session 4: Design and Light-Up a Card
Using materials provided, Explorers will create a card which will light up and surprise someone special this Circuit Breaker!
Learn to Program with Scratch 3.0
- Age: 7- 9 Years Old (Primary 1 to Primary 3)

Learn a new skill while staying at home! Join us in this workshop that teaches you how to program using Scratch 3.0, a block-based programming software. Learn to program motions and design your own game using the app. No basic programming knowledge required!
