Pesona Anggerik: Truly Asia Orchids is a warm celebration of the culture, heritage and orchids of Singapore’s closest neighbour Malaysia, in commemoration of 60 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries in the year of SG60.
Presented in collaboration with the High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore, it is set against a landscape inspired by Malaysia’s natural wonders. Orchid hybrids descended from orchids native to the country are on display.
Traditional elements evocative of the richness and diversity of Malaysia’s culture are peppered throughout the colourful showcase, such as handcrafted rattan baskets, tribal attire, and headwear.
