World Cleanup Day started in Estonia in 2008 and has today grown to become one of the world’s biggest civic movements for environmental conservation. In 2018, World Cleanup Day saw an impressive participation by 17 million people across 158 countries. We are going bigger and better this year.
900 and more volunteers have signed up to clean up in 15 locations island wide and we need all the people we can get. Rally your friends and family and get your hands dirty for the environment.
Things to prepare:
- water for personal consumption
- small bag for picking trash along the picking area (before consolidating into big trash bag)
- (optional) re-usable gloves
