Dino Workshops
Friday, 14 Dec - Sunday, 16 Dec 2018
Venue: LKCNHM Lobby
Jurassic Reporter (11am - 1pm)
Learn the art of video storytelling using the mobile phone. With the guidance of the Da Vinci Kids international award-winning team, kids aged 7 - 12 years are taught how
to be video creators within the museum. They learn the technical and creative aspects of storytelling and reporting as Jurassic Reporters in front of the sauropods in the
museum - camera angles, storyboarding to filming techniques. All participants must bring a fully-charged mobile phone with camera and video functions, and wifi capability.
Create your own Dino-mation! (3pm - 5pm)
Learn how to do stop-motion animation using just a mobile phone and a lot of imagination! Kids are guided in the creation of their own dinosaurs using clay and playdoh.
These dino-creations are then placed on a dinosaur stage for them to craft a story using stop motion animation. Da Vinci Kids will publish the best animation stories online.
Our stop-motion animation booth won the Editor’s Choice Award at the Manila Mini Maker Faire in June 2018!
