Free talk: Christmas Island National Park - where Conservation and Science meet

Christmas Island National Park manages a number of conservation projects that are backed by scientific research including a novel approach to indirectly managing invasive yellow crazy ants through biological control, cat eradication in a crab dominated ecosystem and a reptile captive breeding programme for two Critically Endangered and endemic reptiles.

They will take you on a journey behind the scenes to discover how science and conservation efforts go hand-in-hand to inform management decisions.
