We just turned five! We welcome everyone to join us in our virtual event on 5 September (Sat) to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum.
Through a line-up of digital talks by our research fellows and curators, get to learn about the diverse family of daisies, the life of the enigmatic fireflies, and an extraordinary array of insects! You can also journey through the museum’s happenings and achievements as our education staff reflect on the museum’s history and milestones over the past five years and beyond.
You can also catch the live cast of celebratory activities from our museum! Listen in as Professor Peter Ng (head of LKCNHM) and Professor Tommy Koh (Ambassador-at-Large) share personal experiences and shared hopes for the future of Singapore’s first natural history museum, as we continue to lead biodiversity research and exploration in the Southeast Asian region.
