Participants will become toymakers themselves, just like the Door of Hope girls.
They will learn about Pebblechild, a doll maker that empowers Bangladeshi women by employing them to make crocheted dolls. Participants will each receive a Pebblechild doll and DIY materials for them to decorate and dress up their doll back home. By putting the final touches onto the doll to make it their own, they will get to be a part of the heroic toy making process too!
What will your child learn?
- Young children will develop their fine motor skills through the workshop activity
- Children will grow their knowledge and understanding about the history of toys
