Chile and Singapore commemorates 40 years of bilateral relations in 2019.
The Embassy of Chile presents an exhibition with immersive sampling of six of their UNESCO World Heritage Sites using traditional and modern elements. The exhibition consists of curated images from prominent photographers and national heritage organizations to depict Chile’s vibrant heritage.
The exhibition display at the green pavilion include an operative surface, on the floor, that when QR scanned incorporates modern elements of augmented reality allowing visitors to explore Chile’s World Heritage sites in an innovative way and giving an insight into the human story threaded into the majestic landscapes of the country. Remember to bring your mobile device to scan and unlock fun activities such as pinning moai (iconic stone figurines from Easter Island) in 3D in your surroundings, come and explore Chile through augmented reality technology.
The main exhibition takes place at the Green Pavilion, closest to the Tanglin Gate entrance.
The exhibition also consists of a photography display at the People’s Gallery, consisting of spaces at the Botany Centre of Tanglin Gate, Nassim Visitor Centre and Bukit Timah Gate (near Botanic Gardens MRT Exit A).
