Exhibition: Between Landscapes and Gardens - A collection Jun-ichi Inada's Landscape Architecture works

Step into the world of Landscape Architecture through the works of Jun-ichi Inada, who conceptualized and helped create various nature areas in Singapore, including the Park Connector Network and parts of Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Jun-ichi Inada is a Japanese Landscape Architect who spent 11 years of his 40-year landscape architecture career based in Singapore, from 1983 to 1994. One of his biggest projects was designing the Park Connector Network in Singapore, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015. His landscape design style has also influenced the developments of Singapore Botanic Gardens, Pasir Ris Park and Marina City Park (now, Gardens by the Bay). His works have stretched beyond the shores of Japan and Singapore, to Southeast Asia and even to Russia!

Journey through the process of developing the designs and architectural concepts. Step into his creative mind, from the hectic abstract emotions and putting thoughts to paper, to designing with emotions, to designing landscapes in harmony with nature, for nature. For man to forge a close knit relationship with nature and inculcate renewed respect for the value of the elements of nature.
