For over 160 years, Singapore Botanic Gardens has been the birthplace of Southeast Asia’s rubber and orchid industries.
A walk through the Heritage Core of the Gardens will evoke memories of bygone days when ladies strolled through the Gardens with parasols and long skirts. Highlights of the tour include the Bandstand, various sculptures, Heritage Trees, the Main Gate, and Saraca Stream Walk.
This programme is part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival 2025. From 19 to 27 July, watch our trees glow with new light installations at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. As part of this year's Heritage Festival, immerse yourself in a variety of enchanting activities, from musical performances and outdoor film screenings beneath the stars, to guided tours and onsite programmes led by the Gardens' own researchers and horticulturists!
