Join us in celebrating Singapore's 54th birthday with Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) at the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage.
An evening of nostalgic and patriotic songs, SCO brings you evergreen favourites such as We are Singapore, Stand Up for Singapore and Voices from the Heart.
Inaugurated in 1997, SCO is Singapore’s only professional national Chinese orchestra. With Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as its patron, SCO takes on the twin role of preserving traditional arts and culture and establishing its unique identity through the incorporation of Southeast Asian cultural elements in its music.
Feel the musical heartbeat and let’s come dressed in red to celebrate the nation’s birthday!
