Sport Singapore, formerly Singapore Sports Council, is a statutory board under the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth of the Singapore Government
It is the lead agency tasked with developing a holistic sports culture for the nation. One of the pillars under Sport Singapore was introduced and known as Active SG.
As the national movement for sport, ActiveSG has created a sporting ecosystem with integrated access and opportunities through a network of sporting spaces and innovative programming.
ActiveSG works with the: Community; National Sports Association (NSAs); Schools; Committees (such as the Seniors for Physical Activity Committee); Formal clubs; and Informal interest groups to co-create programmes that are affordable and relevant to all skill levels and age groups.
