The 'Story Carnival @ Enabling Village 2' is a free celebration of diversity through story for family audiences
The 'Story Carnival @Enabling Village 2' is aimed to be inclusive and bring together differently abled persons with the general population of Singapore. It is a family carnival for creating awareness about differently abled people and features some performers with visual, hearing or intellectual impairment alongside established storytellers and musicians. While there are dedicated story sessions for preschoolers, older children and adults will also enjoy the opportunities to participate in storytelling activities as well as meet people with disabilities at the 'Human Library'. Sign interpreters will be on site throughout the day and there is a session focussed on auditory aspects of storytelling for those with visual impairment. There'll also be characters in costume for you to meet Little Red riding Hood, Snow White, and possibly the Wicked Witch too!
This is 2nd year at Enabling Village! They are happy to be back!
