Monument Walking Tour: A Bungalow & A Revolution
The former Sun Yat Sen Villa was an important instrument in Dr. Sun Yat Sen’s revolution. To understand the significance of this house, you will explore its architectural story as well as the historical account of the revolution. Tour will be conducted in English.

Experience the charm and colours of Balestier – an area that has seen many changes and yet still reminds one of yesteryear Singapore. Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall Highlights Tour
Join for a guided tour of Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall and hear the stories behind this century-old villa that featured prominently in Dr Sun’s revolutionary activities in Southeast Asia. Gain valuable insights on the impact of the 1911 Revolution on Singapore, as well as Singapore’s contributions to the Revolution. Participants will receive a special gift at the end of the tour. Journey through the night of 10th October 1911 with the volunteer guides as they take you through Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall’s latest special exhibition, One Night in Wuchang: 1911 Revolution and Nanyang! The Memorial Hall does not offer parking spaces. Visitors may park at Zhongshan Mall, HomeTeamNS-JOM Clubhouse, or Ah Hood Gardens housing estate.
