5-day workshop for ages 11 to 15
A thriller. A group of teens wake in a room, with no idea of how they got there. They soon realize they are trapped inside, unwilling participants in a game of musical chairs in which the losers are pulled through a door to their doom. As tensions rise and their numbers dwindle, can the survivors avoid being picked off one by one?
Gaining lifelong skills in social interaction and communication, improving confidence levels, as well as learning basic drama tools in voice work, character building and improvisation, the week-long workshop will create many possibilities for the teenagers to reflect, share and discuss. Concluding the week with a mini showcase, be captivated as these young people demonstrate the skills that they have learnt!
About the Author
Scott Mullen is a longtime Hollywood screenplay analyst and screenwriter, whose supernatural thriller The Summoning aired on TV One. He also won Amazon Studio’s Best Screenplay of the month prize twice, with Touching Blue and In the Silences. Scott’s ten-minute plays have been produced across the United States and England. He is currently working with the Neo Ensemble Theatre in Los Angeles, and also runs the screenwriting workshop Scriptwrights.
