November/December Workshops 2020 @Act 3 International

Spend a happy November/December in Wonderland together with Alice and her famous friends at ACT 3 Drama Academy and have curios and crazy time!

Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, our dynamic Holiday Drama Workshops have been uniquely tailored to benefit the different age groups in terms of confidence building, vocal development, freeing the mind through creativity and imagination, as well as active and participative learning.

Our week-long workshops for children aged 3 years to teens will immerse your child through drama games and activities that will encourage all to work together on a narrative story ultimately staging it in an intimate showcase on the very last day. This will be captured and recorded on video that can be shared with everyone in the family and with friends.

Likewise, our one-off parent and child performative styled workshops for babies aged 7 to 36 months will provide unique sensorial experiences for the both of you to bond through the freedom of play.

However, the tale turns absurd and soon, the party guests begin to interrupt with questions. Will the sisters have a proper ending?

Together with all the other guests of the Party – March Hare, Dormouse, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, Gryphon, Mock Turtle, Alice is driven by her curiosity to solve the mystery of the broken clock. Who set it at 6, and why? One more guest has yet to arrive – The Queen of Hearts… is she behind the broken clock, and will Alice save the day and reset the clock?

“Who in the world am I?”

Drama is an effective way to uncover inner thoughts, feelings and open minds to different perspectives.

In this play version for teens, we seek to answer the question “Who In the World Am I?” through the myriad viewpoints of the colourful characters created by Lewis Carroll. Come into the chaotic world of Wonderland and go on a journey of discovery with curious Alice, the fiery Queen, the anxious Rabbit, the apathetic Cat and the demented Hatter – who confuse with made-up riddles, stories and rules. A journey of making sense of nonsense, balancing sanity and its distortions

Please be advised that in the event that we are not able to have invited audience for the presentation, we will record the showcase on video and share with everyone.
