ACT 3 International is proud to present ‘Our Tampines Hub Kite Fiesta’ to be held at Singapore’s first-ever integrated community and lifestyle hub at Our Tampines Hub!

Promising to be a weekend of kite flying fun, the fiesta will offer free activities and exciting indoor kite flying performances for all in the family.

ACT 3 International, presenters of the highly successful 2011 to 2014 editions of the NTUC Income Kite Festival, are pleased to showcase the wonders of indoor kites in a community setting, giving the public an opportunity to relish the free-spirited sport and be inspired to take it up as a fitness hobby.

In addition, there will be fringe activities in the form of kite making workshops in the spirit of inter-generational bonding over a fun activity.

Indoor Kite Flying

Performances on both days from 12.45pm to 1.30pm; 2.15pm to 3pm; 4pm to 4.45pm; 5.30pm to 6.15pm

The public can look forward to an impressive showcase of specially-made lightweight kites taking flight in windless conditions. Performed by Singaporean and Malaysian kite flyers to heart-pumping music, these aerial beauties will be a sight to behold.

In particular, a Revolution Kite Performance will see the flyers – each with a four-line kite – impress with a stunning formation display of flying prowess.

Mass Kite Making Workshops

12.45pm, 2.15pm, 4pm, 5.30pm on both days | 45 minutes

Taught by kite masters, these free workshops welcome all to form inter-generational teams to make the kite of their dreams and express their creativity. In particular, Singapore’s Patrick Tan (also known as layangman) will lead an ‘Eddy Kite’ making workshop. Participants will get to take home their very own diamond-shaped creation with their own designs. This extremely lightweight kite requires little wind to take flight and is an ideal option for beginners.
