September 2020 One Off Workshops

Have a delicious, wibbly-wobbly, roaring wild time filled with lots of fun and role-play this September holiday!

Hungry Hungry

  • Inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar By Eric Carle
  • For ages 18 to 36 months with Parent
  • 9 - 11 September 10.30am - 11.30am

A hungry baby caterpillar hatches from an egg and slowly chomps his way through a variety of food on each day of the week. After getting a terrible stomachache, he learns his lesson and finally pupates and emerges as a beautiful butterfly.

Our specially created 60-minute workshop will offer many charming moments for you and your child to explore and express yourselves both creatively and imaginatively. Complete with sensorial engagement, songs, music and movement, follow the caterpillar on her exciting journey of wonder!

We are the Wild Things!

  • Inspired by Where The Wild Things Are By Maurice Sendak
  • For ages 3 to 4 years
  • 9 - 11 September 10am - 5pm

Put on your wolf suit, make mischief and go on an adventurous journey with Max through night and day, in and out of weeks and almost over a year to the island where the Wild Things are!

In this wild and wonderful workshop, your child will experience the thrill of immersive and engaging story telling as it unfolds right in front of his eyes. Using Drama tools such as improvisation, creative movement and role playing, the children will enjoy becoming the Wild Things as they roar their terrible roars, gnash their terrible teeth, roll their terrible eyes and show their terrible claws.

Jelly, Wobble!

  • Inspired by The Jelly That Wouldn’t Wobble By Angela Mitchell
  • For ages 5 to 7 years
  • 9 - 11 September 10am - 5pm

Step right into Princess Lolly’s colourful castle as she celebrates her 89th birthday with her all-time favourite dish – jelly! But what happens when the stubborn gelatinous dessert has a mind of its own and refuses to wobble?

In this interactive and FUN workshop, your child will not only build curiosity, creativity and imagination, he will also collaborate with other children as together they explore and discover what amazing and powerful things Drama, playing and telling a story can do.
