Stand Up and Speak Out!

Explore the possibilities of inflatables as a tool for creating awareness! Using recycled materials the participants will create inflatable sculptures and decorations and stage a peaceful march around the museum to create awareness of a special issue.

Floating Utopias Family Friday Tour

Join a tour led by our Museum Ambassador as we witness how artists use inflatables to examine contemporary social problems and to radically play with form and space.

Museo Aero Solar

Calling all aeronauts of Singapore! ArtScience Museum will be launching the Museo Aero Solar, a large flying sculpture made entirely of recycled plastic bags at Marina Barrage on 7 September! Join us if you would like to play a part in this exciting launch or if you had previously participated in this community project; either from plastic bag contributions or worked collectively on the plastic bag patchwork. There will be drop-in activities around sustainability, including a competition for you to participate in!

Play with Coding

Make Your Own Inflatable

Floating Utopias explores the history of how inflatables have been used in different contexts. We invite you to build your own – be it an art object, an architectural structure or a message balloon and be playful!

A Hat-Trick of Clever Tricks

Down the rabbit hole for a jolly tumble topple where the impossible is quite possible! Keep your head on and join us as we go this way, then a bit of maths that way. We’ll probably pull something physics-y out of a hat, then blam! You’ll be making your own wonderland.
