Try out new activities, watch performances (featuring international artistes, some performing in Singapore for the very first time), and go on a storytelling tour.

Go on a storytelling hunt to discover and learn more about fantastical folktales and stories from ACM's collection. Brought to you by the Story Whisperers.

This programme is suitable for children aged 4 and above. Tours are from 1 to 23 June.

Fun-tastic Fridays

Let your curiosity run wild – explore ancient civilisations this June! Uncover myths and legends as the Story Whispers enthral you with wonderful tales. Kick back and unwind by enjoying drama performances and children-friendly Lunchtime Concerts! If you are a seasoned explorer up for a challenge, head off for an interactive tour and rediscover old Cambodian civilisations at Angkor special exhibition.

Carved in Stone

  • 8 June 2018 2–4pm
  • $20 per parent-and-child unit

Create your own masterpiece inspired by carvings on the stone walls of Angkor temples in this rubber stamp carving workshop. Take a closer look at the beautiful details of Khmer art and architectures as your are guided by experience facilitators in tihs beginner-friendly workshop. Then start decorating with the one-of-a-kind stamp you carved all by yourself!

This workshop is suitable for children aged 7 to 12.

Drama Queen

Let your child unleash his or her drama queen in this 1.5-hour parent and child workshop conducted by ACT 3 International. Move to the music, pick up language skills, and build confidence to perform in front of family and friends!

This workshop is suitable for children aged 4 to 10.

Wat is drawing

  • 15 June 2018 3–5pm
  • Free with museum admission

Doodle, draw, or sketch? Conducted by artist James Lim, this workshop will teach you simple techniques using soft pastels, and you'll finish by making a lovely pop-up backdrop of Angkor Wat.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 12.

Bonjournal

Embark on a journey to create and decorate your own travel journal! Just like explorers of the past– record what you see and think on all your adventures. Make your very own journal to keep memories of your personal adventures!

How to get there?

By public transport: The ACM is a 5-minute walk from Raffles Place MRT station (Exit H). 
By car: Can be reached via a road behind Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, off Fullerton Road near Anderson Bridge.

Parking: At the basement car park of the New Parliament House, at Six Battery Road and at One Fullerton across from the Fullerton Hotel.
