Always wanted to make your first film? Keen to take part in the NRD 2018 Video Challenge but don't know where to start?
This workshop is for you! Participants can expect to learn about the process of film-making, with a strong emphasis on creativity. Camera and videography techniques are key highlights, along with understanding the 3 stages of film production, namely pre-production, production and post-production. A hands-on session featuring up-to-date video editing software will allow participants to walk away with valuable experience in editing videos, ending off a holistic and engaging learning experience for beginners.
Camera equipment will provided but please bring your own laptop for video editing.
This workshop is catered to students from Institutes of Higher Learning, who want to submit a video for the National Reading Day 2018 Video Challenge. Details of the contest can be found here
