You and your baby (4 to 9 months old) are warmly invited to join the Being With Baby Parent-Infant Space
An 8-session programme based on the approach of Dr Emmi Pikler and designed to help build peaceful partnerships.
Over the course of a term of 8 weeks, you will learn how to:
- ‘see’ your baby with ‘new eyes’
- ‘be’ with your baby in order to build and maintain a partnership with your baby
- support your baby in their growth
- give your baby a head start by going slowly and respectfully.
During these 8 sessions, your baby will be offered:
- a peaceful and unhurried environment to simply ‘be’
- the freedom and space to lead their own exploration and motor development
- a supportive space where they can develop their first social, emotional and language skills.
They provide a nurturing community for you and your baby to engage and grow together, as well as to share your struggles and breakthroughs.

All sessions will be hosted at Shuniya (33A Hong Kong Street, 2nd Floor, Singapore 059662).
An introductory session will be held on Saturday, 10 February 2018, from 2:00 to 2:45 PM.
This term’s Parent-Infant Space sessions will take place on the following Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM:

- 10 March 2018
- 17 March 2018
- 24 March 2018
- 7 April 2018
- 14 April 2018
- 21 April 2018
- 28 Apr 2018
Price: $300 for a term of 8 sessions (each 90 minutes long). If you attended the Being With Baby Workshop, the price is $270 (10% discount).
Notes:
1) The introductory session is an orientation for parents / alternate caregivers to find out more about the Parent-Infant Space. Only those who attend the orientation may sign up for the term.
2) You are welcome to invite a partner, grandparent or an alternate caregiver along for sessions as long as your facilitators are informed before each week’s session.
3) If you are unable to attend a session, we will offer you $30 credit towards future Chapter Zero workshops (limited to 2 missed sessions).
