Holiday program goes beyond than just fun and games. It is a learning environment that is always safe yet exciting. With Chelsea Kidz, students always feel like home, away from home!

To expand the Chelsea Kidz Holiday Program, they aim to work hand in hand with education leaders in providing the best quality care for the students. They do this by:

Having an engaging curriculum

A hands on approach to ensure that tactile learning is made fun through projects and activities

Workshop 1: Perfect for the Budding Artist

Come learn Speech and Drama through exploring the creative arts! This program promises to facilitate integrative learning with a wide range of sensory-motor activities that are fun and engaging. Educational drama is a creative process that provides children with a wide range of valuable learning experiences. It is improvisational in nature and involves every aspect of the child's moral, emotional, intellectual, imaginative and physical development.

Day 1: Underwater World
Day 2: Wonderful Gardens
Day 3: Yummy Food
Day 4: Jungle Adventure
Day 5: Something Fishy

Duration: 5 days, 1.5 hours per day

Goals

To stimulate your child's inquisitive mind with room for imagination and discovery.
To encourage your child to develop new skills and ability through creative learning.
To foster a creative sense of imagination through kinestetic learning

Workshop 2: For the Adventurous Bookworms

Introducing Brain Champz Literacy where we help transform the teaching of early reading and writing through left and right brain techniques. We also feature classical music from Mozart to be used as background music when reading. How awesome! Students of our program are exposed to a large library of quality stimuli, so to evoke an acute sense of imagination in their brains and thinking.

Duration: 5 days, 1.5 hours per day

Goals

To help students master the techniques of early reading and writing skills using brain based methods in the most creative and comprehensive way.
To ensure that with our systematic assesments, we help guide and nurture our students' accuracy in reading with fluency.
To provide students with comprehensive understanding of the corresponding similarities between phonemes and letters to prepare their readiness to read.

Workshop 3: For the Junior Master Chefs

Unleash your students culinary enthusiasm by our KIdz Can Bake class! Our baking and decorating classes help to build up motor skills and other proven benefits, such as confidence and a sense of independence amongst students. At the end of the day, students also become more willing to try new food!

Duration: 3 days, 2 hours per day.

Goals

The class allows for the free flow of creative juice from our students, it is also a great stimulation and development of motor skills and is seen as a form of relaxation!
