Chinatown Heritage Centre

Chinatown Heritage Centre provides a fascinating insight into the life of Chinatown's early residents, most of whom had to leave their homes in Chinese villages, because of unrest, famine and poverty and settled in Singapore in hope for better life. Their small and humble homes have been painstakingly restored and every object there tells you stories about Chinatown residents' everyday struggles, aspirations, dissapointments and love.

With its wonderful character-guided tours and carefully recreated original interiors of the shophouses,Chinatown Heritage Centre gives its visitors a chance to fully experience the captivating culture of Chinatown as well as discover the personal stories of its inhabitants.
