Nurturing the Next Generation of Leaders in Technology

 

Date: 13 - 15 Mar

Start your child on their journey in logical thinking with immersive and enriching preschool programme, suitable for ages 4-6, to give them a head start in coding. Involving physical activity, where they get the chance to learn logic and commands using live-sized blocks, children get to act out these commands with their classmates, with lots of running around (specially designed for active little ones!)

Date: 13 -17, 20 - 24 Mar

Designed specifically for children (age 7-9) who are completely new to programming / coding, this program introduces your children to a lifelong skill that is important for the future. Children will be using Scratch, a graphics-based computer coding language developed by Mitchel Resnick, LEGO Papert Professor of Learning Research and head of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT media labs.

Date: 13 - 17, 20 -24 Mar

Designed specifically for children (age 10-12) who are completely new to programming / coding, this program introduces our children to a lifelong skill that is important for the future. At the end of the course, students feel empowered to create, design and develop computational media which they enjoy in their daily lives. They start their journey to build the next blockbuster game (Eg. Angry Birds or Flappy Bird) here.

Date: 13 - 17, 20 - 24 Mar

In this course, children will use Minecraft, a global sensation which had captivated a generation of children, as a starting point. This engages students and imparts to them the knowledge of Python programming. Using a context which they are familiar with, students will learn the basics of programming – the syntax and structure, in an engaging and fun way.

Date: 15 - 16 Mar, 25 Mar - 22 Apr

This course is a follow up to the Coding for Kids Beginner I course. It is designed for Students who have either completed the Coding Lab Beginner I course or students who have learned basic Scratch elsewhere but do not have the prerequisite knowledge to attend Coding Lab Intermediate course. At the end of the course, students feel empowered to create, design and develop computational media which they enjoy in their daily lives.
